I got home today around 6 and was welcomed by my dog and my niece Mylee. She ran up to me and gave me a big hug and she told me she missed me and that she loved me. When I hear her say that, it makes my day every time. We then colored hard boiled and blown out eggs. Now for the rest of this weekend I am going to be studying. I have three tests and two big projects I have to finish for this coming week. Then after this coming week, its finals week where I have four more big tests. I’m going to be hitting the books hard this weekend especially history and when I need a break from that I’ll be working on one of my two projects probably. I also have to make a million flashcards for all my extra derivatives for my CC 101 class. This week needs to go by fast but also I need to get a lot accomplished. My grades depend on it. This year has been tough for some reason and I’m ready for it to be over, but not until my grades are up. Hopefully I can get everything done in time!

Blog #13 open extra credit
This weekend I went home to visit my family. I haven't been home since Spring Break so it was a nice break. On Friday, we didn't do that much, just kind of caught up on everything. On Saturday, we went to go see "Hop" as a family. The movie was really cute and everyone seemed to enjoyed it. Then later that night I had to interview/talk with my niece Mylee, who's 3, for a project in my SPAA class, Language Development. I had to record her talking to me for 20-30 minutes and have 30 utterances which means 30 phrases-start to finish. Inside every utterances I have to count up the Morphemes. Morphemes are the single words inside the utterance, but if there is any form of plurality, past-tense, etc counts as another one. I also have to make a transcript of everything that is said. This is going to be tough because sometimes she just gets so excited that she starts talking gibberish. It'll definitely be interesting. This week I am going to busy finishing 3 projects, and study for 2 tests before finals even start.

Blog 12: open
This week has gone by pretty fast, but the next four weeks are going to be a killer. I have 3 big projects due here soon, three big history tests and two books to read, a couple quizzes and a test in CC 101 which is classical literature-word origin class which is awful and I wouldn’t recommend taking it if you’re not good with words, and then probably a few other quizzes in my other classes and then finals week. Next weekend and Easter weekend I’m going home and I’m pretty excited about that. I’m excited to see my niece and baby nephew who will be three months next weekend. I haven’t seen him since Spring Break, but even then I wasn’t able to see him that much because he had to go back to the hospital because he was having irregular breathing and an irregular heartbeat, but he’s perfectly healthy now. My niece is just a goof ball and I miss her like crazy. She’s three years old, but she acts like she’s a teenager, probably because she’s surrounded by them. She is very smart and mature for her age in our opinion. She has called me twice in the last weeks and every time it made my day. The first time she called my sister didn’t even know she did because she somehow figured out how to use the command button and said “call Kelcie”. She could literally stay on the phone forever and she doesn’t even have to be talking. I can’t wait to see her and the little man, so hopefully next week goes by just as fast as this one!
